The Searching for Home Collective is coming to Governors Island for the 2026 NYC Poetry Festival.
Visit our table in Nolan Park throughout the festival weekend to meet the collective, browse poetry books, greeting cards, art prints, and poems in bottles, and learn how to become part of the community.
Elizabeth Mateer, founder of the Searching for Home Collective and author of Searching for Home, will read on Saturday, July 18 at 11:00 AM on the Algonquin Stage.
Whether you are a poet, reader, artist, or someone looking for a more meaningful creative community, come say hello. You will also be able to join the collective or express interest in helping build future programming in Boston, New York City, and online.
